Leviathan California Red Wine
The Leviathan wine is a red blend created afresh each vintage, sourced from some of the most coveted vineyards in California. Each year, a percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc are blended together to produce a singular wine, showcasing all the best characteristics of the vintage.
The Leviathan boasts an intense mix of fresh boysenberry, black cherry, and plum with cocoa powder, allspice, and nutmeg. Its earthy elements of our rocky California hillsides include bay Laurel, sage, cedar, and dry red earth which speaks to its origins. Supple and balanced tannins of this rich wine lead to a long savory finish with hints of graphite and star anise.
A generous masterpiece showcasing a rich and dense core with dark ruby and a hint of magenta in the glass. Aromas transport the senses to a violet flower patch wrapped in dark chocolate, mint, and cassis. The mouthfeel is complete, layered and balanced with dark fruit, spice, and concentration. Muscular tannins carry you home to a storied finish.
